The computer must be compatible with both the scientific and office software recommended and/or provided by ESIEA, such as Mathematica and Microsoft Office Suite. It must be able to connect to ESIEA’s network and use all the resources made available by the IT department. Tablets, mini PCs and Chromebooks are not allowed.

For the best user experience, a 15″ screen and durable battery are highly recommended. Since students will be bringing their laptops to campus on a regular basis, the computer should preferably be lightweight and easy to carry.
