ERASMUS+ Exchange program for Incoming students
If you are a student from one of ESIEA’s Erasmus+ partner universities, you have the opportunity to study with us as an exchange student under the Erasmus+ program. We will be delighted to welcome you to one of our campuses!
ESIEA is committed to international mobility, particularly within the European Community, through the Erasmus+ academic exchange program. This initiative enables students to spend a semester at a partner university, fostering cultural and academic exchange across Europe. Since its inception in 1987, over 620,000 French students have benefited from this program.
Financial Support
Erasmus+ participants receive mobility grants, calculated based on the duration of their stay at the partner university. This support is funded by the European Commission to help students manage their expenses while studying abroad.

ECTS System and Language Requirements
ECTS Credit System
ESIEA follows the Bologna directives, ensuring compatibility with European higher education standards.
- One fully validated semester grants 30 ECTS (European Credit Transfer System).
- One academic year corresponds to 60 ECTS.
Language Requirements & Support
- ESIEA requires a B2 level according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFRL) in the language you choose to study in.
- For students studying in English, ESIEA offers “Survival French” lessons to help with daily life in France.


All students must have a functioning laptop compatible with ESIEA’s software. Tablets, mini PCs, and Chromebooks are not allowed. Recommended specs include an Intel i7 processor, 16 GB RAM, and 512 GB SSD.
ESIEA partners with CROUS for exchange student housing. Other students can access specialized housing options near campus and transport hubs.

Laval Campus: Courses entirely in French.
Paris Campus: Courses available in both English and French.
