Competences with additional spirit: life skills
Training in human development is essential for each student to reach their potential. It enables students to develop life skills and become open-minded.
The students learn how to motivate a team, highlight their work and talents, from oral expression techniques to learning about the psychology of human relations.
Carrying out one practical team project per year develops methodological skills and good behavioural flair, which employers immediately recognize in ESIEA graduates.
Developing one’s potential, one’s self-awareness and being aware of those around us, are the mainstays of the human development course that has been taught since ESIEA’s creation.
Indeed, engineers, with their concern and understanding of others, know how to bring minds together, rally energy and pass on their motivation to teams no matter what the situation.
Combining a high scientific-technical level with the capacity to develop one’s people skills, are qualities that make all the difference in a company.

The future engineers become involved in large-scale projects, which are linked to culture, sport or humanitarian missions, depending on each person’s interests and within the range of scientific-technical activities on offer.
Each year they explore a new branch, which paves the way to developing different skills.
It is a good preparation for dealing effectively with diverse responsibilities, within a company context.
