Research in High-tech fields

From the first year and continuing throughout the degree course an integral part of ESIEA’s educational philosophy is having access to four research areas and associated laboratories.

Research and innovation are closely linked to our teaching approach

Future engineers are immediately confronted with real problems in applied research, giving them a taste for innovation.

The creative enthusiasm that stimulated ESIEA’s founder - who at that point was dedicating all his time to the beginnings of electronics - is still present in the research-lecturers’ spirit and in the whole of the present team today.

In order to keep to the forefront of rapidly changing areas, research linked to new technologies is at the heart of the school’s teaching methods.

Access to areas of expertise from the very first year is a real opportunity!  Not only does the time spent in the laboratories give the future engineers a taste for invention and innovation but, on top of that, each research project involves solving a genuine problem.

ESIEA, a place of innovation and invention.

Applied research has a real impact on humans’ lives and that of companies, whether it be undertaken at the school - with mixed teams of research-lecturers and students - or in partnership with enterprises and French or foreign universities. It leads to technical achievements of quality, which result in commercial or industrial recognition, the registration of a patent or a publication.
